Nature Strolls with the Library - Take a walk along the Riverwalk with us on 2nd Thursdays of the month at 10am & 3rd Wednesdays of the month at 2pm. Meet us in front of the Main Library in Hillsborough as we gather for a 45 minute, leisurely walk along the Riverwalk. Open to Everyone! Walks will occur when the weather is fair and the library is open barring other unforeseen circumstances. Check the library’s event calendar or register for updates. Greening Your Investments - Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 1-2:30pm at Main Library | Join us for an interactive discussion on how best to align your financial investments with your values. This discussion is sponsored by the Hillsborough Green Team and led by two local financial advisors.

Local Repair Cafes - Don't throw it away; fix it at a free Repair Cafe! Work with a volunteer repair coach and their tools to fix their broken electronics, furniture, jewelry, and more! This month, the Repair Cafes are:

• Repair Cafe Durham - Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 10am-2pm at Holton Career and Resource Center located at 401 North Driver Street, Durham, NC 27703

   

• Repair Cafe Greensboro - Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 1-5pm at Reconsidered Goods located at 4118 Spring Garden Street, Greensboro, NC 27407
