Celebrate Earth Day with creativity and conservation!

Saturday Serenity Guided Meditation occurring on the last Saturday of the month (February 28th, March 28th, April 25th, May 30th) from 3:00-4:00pm at the Main Library in Hillsborough, located at 137 West Margaret Lane

Join us for an afternoon of sewing. Bring your sewing machine and your current project. Or use our space to spread out for cutting patterns or to enjoy the company of other sewists while you catch up on some hand-stitching.

The Teen Advisory Group (TAG) is a group of 8th-12th graders dedicated to making a positive impact at the library for themselves and other teens.

Make a Watering Station for Thirsty Pollinators with Hillsborough Garden Club on Saturday, May 2, 2026 from 12-1pm at Main Library located at 137 West Margaret Lane, Hillsborough, North Carolina 27278. This event is for all ages.

Put on your chef hat and get ready to experiment in the kitchen! In this hands-on Dessert Lab, teens will work together to create two delicious sweet recipes from start to finish.

Students currently in or who have recently completed 6th-12th grades are invited to join Samantha in the Teen Center for an hour of studio time

Get creative in the kitchen and design your own mini pizza! Teens will choose from a variety of sauces, cheeses, and toppings to build a custom pizza just the way they like it.

Visit the library for fun activities all day and “Unearth a Story” as we embark on an 8 week reading adventure!

Get messy and creative at Teen Finger Painting! Ditch the brushes and use your hands to create bold, colorful works of art.

Create something beautiful with nature at our Dried Flower Suncatcher program! Use pressed flowers and simple materials to design your own unique, light-catching artwork. Hang it in a window and watch the colors shine.

Teens (and their parents/guardians) are invited to meet live animals and learn about them in this interactive program!
