We are happy to welcome neurodivergent children and their caretakers for a sensory-friendly browsing time.
Join us before the library opens to general public on the 4th Wednesday of each month from 9-10am.
During this time, we will provide the following accommodations to support a stress-free visit:
- Lowered lighting
- Lower foot traffic
- Reduced noise
- Calm-down space
- Wobble stools and soft seating
- Illuminated light table and tactile toys
- Sensory kits, including noise-cancelling headphones, sunglasses, and weighted lap pad
- Friendly staff
