Event Details
Create a Plant Maze!
Can you guide a plant’s path as it grows? Kids will design and build a maze that helps direct plant growth while learning how plants respond to light and space. Designed for children in grades 3–5. Registration not required.
This is a Hillsborough Climate Challenge (HCC) event. HCC is a month-long series of events for all ages occurring at venues all over town with the goal of presenting practical and accessible things people can do in their everyday lives to combat climate change. Information About Age Ranges
While the library's family programs are open to all ages, other programs in youth services are designed for a specific age or grade range. Establishing age and grade ranges allows us to plan programs that are appropriate for each range of child development, maintain quality in our programming, and promote fairness to all. Caregivers Remain at the Library
Children will participate in this program independently from their caregivers, however, if a child is under the age of 10 the caregiver will need to remain inside the library for the duration of the program.
