Hey Teens!

Thursday afternoons, you are invited to play our Nintendo Switch at the library. All games are provided. Located in the 2nd floor Teen Room.

To play, starting at 3pm stop by the desk upstairs to sign up for a time slot and sign out a set of controllers. 2 or 4 players can play at a time depending on the game. Time slots are for 30 minutes. If no one is waiting, you can keep playing. When you are done playing, you will return the controllers to the desk. For a complete list of the guidelines, you can click on the attachment 'Teen Room Gaming Guidelines'.

Please note that there will be no open play on Thursday June 6th while Youth Services is on a programming break to prepare for the start of Summer Reading.

These programs are designed for patrons who have already completed 6th - 12th grade. Rising 6th graders may join teen programming after September 2, 2024.

Age Range Info

Information About Age Ranges

While the library's family programs are open to all ages, other programs in youth services are designed for a specific age or grade range. Establishing age and grade ranges allows us to plan programs that are appropriate for each range of child development, maintain quality in our programming, and promote fairness to all. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Beth Hawkey, youth services supervisor.
