Event Details
Join Death Doula, Regan Wendell, to start thinking about meaningful and creative end of life plans and advanced directives within the container of a supportive, death positive space.
Planning for our own death is a form of self care as well as community care. It helps us to be more clear about what we want at the end of our life, while offering space to gain insight on relationships, love, fear, and how we be or want to be in the world as we continue to live.
This workshop is for adults of any age, and in all states of health and wellness. It is meant to be an inclusive space, and specifically welcomes folks in the LGBTQIA2S+ and BIPOC communities, as well as elders and youngers alike.
Participants are asked to read Regan's suggestions for group harmony, which can be found on their website, or downloaded from this page.
Regan Wendell (she, they) is an āyurvedic health counselor, death doula, self care doula, community organizer, and community care advocate. They are also so much more than titles and check boxes. Some people like to call her a healer, some like to call them a witch, some like to call them a weirdo. Embodying some qualities of each, Regan prefers to think of their presence as a pointer to the healer, witch, and wierdo that already exists within each of us. Regan offers individual services and workshops online and in person through Stable In Self. You can learn more about Regan and the work of Stable In Self on the website: www.stableinself.com
Stable In Self offers holistic care for living fully & dying gracefully. Through the lens of āyurveda and yoga philosophy, along with a framework of mutual aid and social and transformative justice, we work together to heal and transform ourselves for the benefit of all beings.
