Program Description

Event Details

Let your imagination take shape—literally! In this hands-on program, kids in grades K–5 (and their siblings and caregivers) will use air-dry clay to sculpt their very own creatures, critters, or animals. Will you make a dragon with bunny ears? A turtle with wings? Or a totally new creation from your imagination? We’ll provide the clay, tools, and decorations—you bring the creativity!

Creations can be taken home to finish drying.

Perfect for kids in grades K–5.  Parents and caregivers will attend this program with their children.

Information About Age Ranges

While the library's family programs are open to all ages, other programs in youth services are designed for a specific age or grade range. Establishing age and grade ranges allows us to plan programs that are appropriate for each range of child development, maintain quality in our programming, and promote fairness to all. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us at library@orangecountync.gov.
