Event Details
Get ready to explore the power of static electricity! Kids will use a “charge checker” to test how different objects react and then try a series of fun experiments—like making paper people dance, bending water, and even levitating plastic bag strips. We’ll race rolling soda cans and see how static electricity makes it all happen. Everyone will take home a balloon and a can to keep the experiments going! Perfect for kids in grades 3–5.

Caregivers Remain at the Library
Children will participate in this program independently from their caregivers, however, if a child is under the age of 10 the caregiver will need to remain inside the library for the duration of the program.
