• NC Wildflower of the Year | The NC Wildflower of the Year for 2025 is Blue Curls, Trichostema dichotomum.  NC Botanical Garden and Hillsborough Garden Club are providing Blue Curls seeds for the final Seed Share of 2025. Seeds available at Main Library beginning in June while supplies last. 

   

• Shop Seasonal, Small, & Local | This is a set of initiatives being advocated for in various way and by various entities nationwide like the USDA. Stop by Main Library to learn about farmers market incentive programs as well as the health, economic, and environment benefits of shopping seasonal, small, and local. You can also visit:
