This month at Main, we have displays highlighting:

Self-Care September | September is Self–Care Awareness Month, a time to remind us that taking care of ourselves, first and foremost, is essential because we can't care for others is we are not well ourselves. Click to find a self-care reading list for adults and teens.

Fibercrafting | In September we're highlighting knitting, crocheting, and other fibercraft work in preparation for our second annual Knit or Crochet a Hat for a Child drive. From September 19th through the end of the year, give the gift of warmth by knitting or crocheting a hat for Acorn Acres, a local organization which creates and distributes hats, gloves, and more to school children in our community.  Click to learn more and for a list of knitting and crochet books for ideas, patterns, and instructions.

Hispanic & Latin American Heritage Month | National Hispanic & Latin American Heritage Month is September 15 to October 15! Celebrate with books for every age group in English & Spanish by Latin and Hispanic authors and/or center Latin and Hispanic characters.
