Writing Workshop

Thanks Be: A Poetry and Creative Non-fiction Workshop | Wednesday November 29th from 5:30-7pm at the Main Library in Hillsborough 

November presents us an opportunity to honor Indigenous Americans and to practice gratitude in our individual lives. We’ll do both in this poetry and creative non-fiction writing workshop led by esteemed local poet, Morrow Dowdle. We’ll read work by contemporary Indigenous poets, then write and share work of personal gratitude in response. Please bring your favorite notebook and writing implement; paper and pens will be available if needed. For adults and for youth aged 16 and up. This event is free; light refreshment will be included. Registration is required.
