Pollinator Week is June 19 - 25, 2023.  Celebrate with Seed Share in June sponsored by the Hillsborough Garden Club and by participating in the family-friendly Bee Photo Hunt on Saturday, June 24th! 

Buttonbush (Cephalanthus occidentalis) is a native plant and is the 2023 NC Wildflower of the Year. Buttonbush seeds will be available at the Main Library in Hillsborough beginning June 10th while supplies last.

The Bee Photo Hunt is a family-friendly scavenger hunt developed by the Hillsborough Garden Club. Groups or individuals would take photos of bee signs at designated "Bee Station" locations around town, including the library. Each Bee Station will display a poster and a clue. Put the clues together, solve the puzzle, and win prizes! Find the rules, a list of the Bee Stations, and pollinator information at HillsboroughGardenClubNC.org
