Read Black Books Challenge and Raffle - All February

This February, celebrate Black Histories and Futures Month with books by and about peoples of the African Diaspora! If you've never read a western, romance, or classic work by a Black author or about Black characters, now is the perfect time. Stop by the Main Library in Hillsborough to pick up reading logs and a Read Black bookmark to help guide you to new, diverse reads. Each time you read a work of Black literature throughout the month of February, fill out a log and return it to the Main Library. You can read and complete as many logs as you like. For each completed entry, your name will be added to a raffle to receive a book of your choice by a Black author or centering Black characters.
