September 17th is National Voter Registration Day! Stop by Main Library in Hillsborough to find out if you're registered, fill out registration forms, update your information, and more.
Information will be available all day, but members of local NAACP branches will be on hand from 12-2pm to answer relevant questions.
This event is also for teens! In North Carolina, a person must be 18 years old to vote. However, 16- and 17-year-olds may preregister to vote, meaning that you can fill out a registration application that will be process once they become eligible to by age to vote at age 18.
