Event Details

It's time for the 8th Annual Literary Peeps Show contest at the Main Library in Hillsborough! 

The library invites you to make and bring in a literary-themed, marshmallow peeps diorama. All entries need to be based on a book and family-friendly. 

All ages are welcome to enter! Entry Categories: Youth, Teen, Adult, and Family. 

Entries will be judged by the public while they are on display and are eligible to win a number of awards from most creative to funniest entry. 

Dates

* Submit your entries from Wednesday, March 11th to Tuesday, March 24th. 

  • Fill out the submission form attached or ask for one upon submission.
  • Submit your completed entries at the Youth Services desk (first floor).
  • Please do not include any personal information on your diorama such as name or age.
  • Entries should aim to be no larger than the size of a standard shoebox. Max size: 12"x18"x12".
  • By entering your diorama, you give OCPL permission to display, photograph/film, and share it online.

* From Thursday, March 26th to Thursday, April 9th, view the submissions on the 1st floor and vote for your favorites in a number of categories.

    • Most Faithful To Its Book
    • Funniest Diorama
    • & Favorite By Age Group

* Winners in each category will be announced on Monday, April 13th.

* All entries will need to be picked up between April 13th-19th. Remaining dioramas will be discarded.
