Orange County's Juneteenth Kickoff Celebration Events on Friday, June 14th, 2024

Orange County Government invite all members of our community to participate in the Juneteenth Kickoff Celebration events taking place at different spaces in Hillsborough throughout the day

Events:

* Opening Ceremony | 10-11am at David Price Farmers Pavilion (140 East Margaret Lane) 

* Roots of Resilience: The Legacy and Future of Black Farming |  1-4pm at Main Library (137 West Margaret Lane) |  Join  us for a meal, panel discussion, and workshops with our local Black farmers, foodway healers, and advocates

* Joyful Celebration | 6-9pm at Eno Arts Mill (437 Dimmocks Mill Road, #17) | Come out for some homegrown fun with music provided to us by SHAMBO MEDINA, DJ Complex, and other surprise guests! There will be food, vendors, community art, and games for all ages.

The Juneteenth Kickoff Celebration is taking place in collaboration with Orange County Public Library's Black Literature & Arts Celebration (BLAC), an annual celebration that takes place during the week leading up to Juneteenth.
