June 14 | 5:30 - 7:45 pm | Grades 6-12 | Registration Required
Join us for an exciting after hours event! We are going to take over the library's meeting room, chill in our PJs, stuff our faces with waffles, and watch a movie. Blankets, pillows, and other comfy items are encouraged but not required. Participants and staff will be in the Meeting Room for the duration of the program. The movie will be decided by majority vote the night of the event.

- Guardians of the Galaxy
- Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves
- Super Mario Brothers
Registration and parent permission slip required for each attendee. REGISTRATION DEADLINE is Thursday, June 13, 2024. If your teen is still interested in registering after this date, please call 919-245-2532 to inquire about space.
This is a parent free event. Interested teens will need to fill out a parent/guardian permission slip and submit it to the teen librarian. The permission slip is attached and can be submitted in advance or brought signed when teens sign in for the program. Teens who show up without a signed permission slip will not be permitted to attend. Teens must be in the building and signed in for the program before the library closes its doors at 6:00 pm. Teens must be picked up by a parent or guardian between 7:45-8:00 pm.
These programs are designed for patrons who have already completed 6th - 12th grade. Rising 6th graders may join teen programming after September 2, 2024.

While the library's family programs are open to all ages, other programs in youth services are designed for a specific age or grade range. Establishing age and grade ranges allows us to plan programs that are appropriate for each range of child development, maintain quality in our programming, and promote fairness to all. Photos may be taken at this event and used on the library's website and social media and in other promotional pieces. Please let program staff know if you do not want pictures taken of you or your family.
Parent-Free Event
This program is designed for youth participants to attend unaccompanied. Please make arrangements to drop-off and pick-up participants 5-10 minutes before a program ends.
