Program Description

Event Details

Join us for a hands-on workshop where creativity meets sustainability! In ShrinkCycle, participants will learn how to transform recycled plastic into colorful, custom shrinkable art. Using repurposed materials like plastic containers, you'll craft unique designs that shrink into durable art to take home.

This program is perfect for children in grades 3 through 5 and offers a fun way to explore eco-friendly crafting while giving discarded plastic a second life.  Registration not required.

Information About Age Ranges

While the library's family programs are open to all ages, other programs in youth services are designed for a specific age or grade range. Establishing age and grade ranges allows us to plan programs that are appropriate for each range of child development, maintain quality in our programming, and promote fairness to all. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Beth Hawkey, youth services supervisor.

Caregivers Remain at the Library

Children will participate in this program independently from their caregivers, however, if a child is under the age of 10 the caregiver will need to remain inside the library for the duration of the program.
