Jolabokaflod at Main Library! - Through December 23rd
Jólabókaflód (pronounced a bit like yo-la-boke-uh-flowed) is an Icelandic tradition that translates to "Christmas/Yule book flood." It involves giving and receiving new books as gifts, unwrapping them on Christmas Eve, and spending the evening reading the books, ideally with hot chocolate. Main Library in Hillsborough is continuing its tradition of celebrating this holiday by wrapping gently used books for you to take as our gift to you this holiday season. Stop by and and get your Jolabokaflod on through December 23rd. For adults. Click to learn more about Jólabókaflód.
