Program Description

Event Details

Children will learn about the history of code breaking and learn to write their own phrases using Morse Code. Children will have a chance to use a real Morse Code key to tap out their phrase. The program will end with the children making bracelets with their own coded phase on it. Register here or by calling 919.245.2525.

Los niños aprenderán sobre la historia de la ruptura de códigos y aprenderán a escribir sus propias frases usando el código Morse. Los niños tendrán la oportunidad de usar una clave de código morse real para extraer su frase. Caregivers Remain at the Library

Children will participate in this program independently from their caregivers, however, if a child is under the age of 10 the caregiver will need to remain inside the library for the duration of the program.
