Now Entering Alaska Time: A Fiddling and Storytelling Journey

Join us as we welcome poet and musician, Ken Waldman, for a family-friendly storytelling event. Combining Appalachian-styled fiddling with poems & stories of everyday Alaska life, Ken takes us on a journey to Alaska without leaving Orange County! This event is free and intended for all ages. Registration is encouraged but not required.

Ken Waldman is a writer with 20 books and a fiddler with 12 CDs who has appeared at such venues as the Kennedy Center Millennium Stage, the Dodge Poetry Festival, and the Woodford Folk Festival (Queensland, Australia). A 40-year Alaska resident, he lived in Hillsborough from 1982-1984.

Ken also hosts a writing workshop earlier in the day for adults and youth 16+.
