Are you interested in foraging or just want to get outside? Come out for leisurely stroll along the Riverwalk the Riverwalk with Kafi, Main Library’s Adult Programs Librarian, to see what we can find! We’ll begin at the library. As we walk and begin learning about things using our smartphones, we’ll talk a little bit about beginner’s foraging and tips for being safe. We'll end our walk at Weaver Street Market where Hillsborough Climate Challenge volunteers will have some cool down refreshment and information about the Challenge. Registration is required.

NOTENo pets, please. Please keep in mind that the path from the library to the Riverwalk and along the Riverwalk itself may include hills, uneven ground, pedestrian street crossings, etc. and factor those considerations into your plans. Do plan to wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a water bottle as well as a hat or umbrella for shade.

Hillsborough Climate Challenge (HCC) is a month-long series of events for adults, teens, and youth occurring at venues all over town aimed at presenting practical and accessible knowledge and solutions to combat climate challenge that can be incorporated into everyday life.
