Titles, Beginnings, Turns, and Endings: An Online Poetry Workshop in Two Parts, Facilitated by Pam Baggett

Part Two: Turns and Endings - Sunday, February 26th, 1:30-3:30 pm

Description: The last lines of a poem, as we know, can be challenging. And while not every poem makes a turn, most make one or more, shifting the poem, incorporating new thoughts, ideas, and images so that it deepens in complexity and meaning. In this session, we’ll look at ways to create and navigate turns so that we weave spell-binding works that lead to powerful, satisfying endings. We’ll discuss strategies for creating those endings, ones that resonate with our titles as well as the body of the poem. Writers working at all levels and in other genres are welcome.

If you can’t attend one date of this two-part workshop, you’re still welcome to attend on the other date.
