Event Details

Get ready for a deliciously fun evening at our Winter Movie and Waffle Night! Teens, join us at the library for a special after-hours event where you can indulge in homemade waffles, enjoy a movie screening, and hang out with friends. It’s the perfect way to unwind and make the most of your Friday night!

The movie will be decided by majority vote the night of the event. 

Movie options:

  • Dungeons & Dragons . Honor Among Thieves
  • The Super Mario Bros. Movie
  • Home Alone (1 or 2)
  • Elf
  • The Santa Clause (1 or 2)

What to Bring: Just yourself and your love for waffles and movies! Feel free to bring a blanket or pillow for extra comfort during the movie.

Registration: 

Space is limited, so be sure to register early to secure your spot. Registration and parent permission slip required for each attendee. REGISTRATION DEADLINE is Thursday, December 19, 2024. If your teen is still interested in registering after this date, please call 919-245-2532 to inquire about space. 

 

This is a parent free event. Interested teens will need to fill out a parent/guardian permission slip and submit it to the teen librarian. The permission slip is attached and can be submitted in advance or brought signed when teens sign in for the program. Teens who show up without a signed permission slip will not be permitted to attend. Teens must be in the building and signed in for the program before the library closes its doors at 6:00 pm. Teens must be picked up by a parent or guardian between 8:15-8:30 pm at the side door of the Library.

Parent-Free Event

This program is designed for youth participants to attend unaccompanied. Please make arrangements to drop-off and pick-up participants 5-10 minutes before a program ends.
