Sharing Information in Trying Times: Zine Making and Community Work on Wednesday, July 9th 2025, 6:15pm at Main Library located at 137 West Margaret Lane, Hillsborough, North Carolina 27278. This event is for adults, ages 18+. Registration is preferred.

How can we continue to share information and further learning if information becomes inaccessible in traditional learning spaces? What are possible responses to the creation of those barriers? We can look to the future to find new ways to learn & info-share, but we can also look to and employ methods of the past. 

Zines are self-published, creative, info-sharing tools that greatly impacted learning and community work in the era just before blogging and wide internet use. Let’s make some and talk about their past and current applications.
