This month at Main Library, we have displays in Adult Services highlighting:
Poetry Month | April is Poetry Month! Celebrate with books by NC & Local Poets
Community Poetry Reading | Sat., April 26th from 2-4pm at Main Library | Earlier in the year we asked the community for submissions to Wax2, the library's literary zine for adults. Join us and bring your own poem to read, or read one by another poet that has moved you in the past.
Climate and Environment Fiction & Nonfiction | Earth Day is April 22nd. Celebrate with:
- Ecofiction, aka "Cli-Fi", which explores harmonious and destructive relationships that humans have on the climate and environment and vice versa
Climate and Environment Books & DVDs for Adults
- Hillsborough Climate Challenge - a series of events at Main Library and elsewhere in town which help to promote simple, accessible ways to protect our climate and environment.
